| How he became a pirate:On May 7 1694 Avery & his fellow mutineers took over the Charles(ship). Avery was reported to have said "I am a man of Fourtane & must seek my Fortune". Thus becoming the new Captain. | |
| His main territory:Sailing Africas west coast & Islands of Cape Verde & Guinea Coast. Sailed around The Cape of Good hope .....The Madagascar and sevearl other ports around the red sea. | |
| Famous/Infamous for:Plunders 3 English ships stealing thier gold & clapping the natives into irons. Attacked 2 Danish ships stealing a new vessal. He joined up with a few other pirates and they plundered the Fath Mahmamaddi steeling her cargo of 50,000-60,000 pounds of gold and silver. | |
