| Details of the treasure hunt: (First challenge) First Christa, Ben, and Jay all had to rumage around alone. There was not a Black or Red Crew this time around. This treasure hunt was to determine who was going to compete against each other in the final challenge and become the first ever Pirate Master! But there is a big problem, they have to learn Latin words to discover the code and get the treasure. As the crew write down the words, they swim to shore and Ben and Christa in the lead. There they must run across a very scary and small foot-bridge to find a sword with the clue. After that they have to travel to a cave and find out a sentence in latin which leads them to the treasure hidden within the waterfall. Ben is Victorious and Christa loses power as Captain. | (2nd Challenge) The final two now have to group up ol' mates from the past (The Ghosts) and hunt for the biggest treasures of all. They take a boat to shore with Black team ahead. From there the ghosts are only allowed to go for a certain ways before they have to stop and allow their final 2 take the rest. Now Ben and Christa have to travel great length to find the next clue which deals with a boat steering wheel. There they have to line up the steering wheel along with the latin codes they learned from the previous challenge which will lead them to the treasure. They had no clue the treasure has been in front of their faces since the beggining of Pirate Master. They must go back to the ship and find a Key and Puzzle in the treasure of Zanzabar (however ye spell it) Now it comes down to Ben and Christa. The pressure is on and ol' pals are competeing for something they both desire. |

I thought this was a great finale, definitely some big things happened to make it exciting. It sure made it exciting for me! When all the Ghost Pirates came back and it was either Jay or Christa who was going, Jay was definitely sweating it out.
The Ghost Pirates really laid into them, especially Jay for his backstabbing. The Ghosts then voted to get Jay out the game by a staggering 12-1 vote. But now, all 16 contestants are back on the ship which is Jay's worst nightmare. Now it's down to Ben and Christa to run for Captain Steel's treasure. Ben picks Cheryl, Azmyth and Nessa to be on his crew. But Christa picks John, Jay and Nessa as well. Nessa decides to go with Christa so Ben picks Jupiter instead. The hunt is on for the final treasure. After a long, grueling Expedition, and a close one at that Ben unlocks the Chest of Zanzibar winning the $500,000 treasure and the title of Pirate Master. I was happy to see him win, it's great to see the underdog win. Well, this has been a rocky road for this show, hasn't it? But it's been a good show right up until the end of this finale, I'm glad I stuck with it. It's been fun here with you guys, and I guess I'll see you on the other side. Congratulations Ben, you're in our hearts Cheryl, and here's to Pirate Master! |
