I have just read many of the comments sent in by other viewers and had quite a good chuckle at what they had to say although it really isn't funny what CBS did by pulling Pirate Master. However, I am one of the fortunate ones that can view it on my computer although I don't like doing this and would much rather be sitting in my recliner watching my big screen. So for me the bottom line is, why did CBS pull the show? We are all quite miffed by this action, but I think the execs owe us the decency of an explanation whatever the reason is. I am also in agreement with the viewers who dislike Big Brother. Can you believe there have been 8 seasons of this crap? I watch a lot of daytime CBS, but there is nothing keeping me as a viewer for the evening. I guess I'll be going to Blockbuter or Netflix for my entertainment. Sorry, CBS. You messed up big time, this time.

What a great show...I was waiting for the casting call for the next season...this is the ONLY reality I would have ever considered taking part in. I just loved the whole format and the challenges. I really hate that CBS canceled it, I looked forward to it every week. Seems like CBS would have polled it's viewers...then they would have seen that there were plenty of us out here!! Now what? I have nothing to look forward to :( Bring back the pirates!!!!!

Why stop a good thing? Thats the problem with this world now. You must please so many and forsake the few that like it. When will there be another Pirate Master show. As you have said in show times before, The show must go on!

I had no problem watching previous episodes but now I can't watch any and I have not been able to watch the finale yet. Is there a way to fix this or is it the website that has a problem?

I'm really shocked and disappointed to hear that CBS cancelled this show. I loved it! I mean I really enjoyed it and looked forward to it. Please bring it back! It was a cool show, and I echo the comments of many others in saying that they let lame shows like Survivor and Big Brother drag on while they let this one go. What idiots are programming?

I really loved the show and some of my family and friends watched it until it was cancelled. We all hate to see that it won't be back especially considering the lousy line up for the fall season. Survivor has been fun but is getting a little old. Big Brother is okay but not exactly for family viewing. We were all pulling for Ben and are glad he won. Good luck to all of the pirates and we hope CBS can do a better job with programming. Maybe the execs will find some more shows that families can watch.

I was shocked when CBS changed the airing day of the show and then totally depressed when they canceled it. It is a good show that proceeds to get better every episode. I love the dynamics and am a big fan of the pirates! One more season!!!!

i was surprised that they pulled it off the air i kept hitting my tivo in disbelief when another week went by and it wasn't on. guess i am glad that the internet is an avenue that they could show the final episodes, i would have really felt ripped off if after i was hooked they just pulled it off the air

First, I'm really happy Ben won Pirate Master. He played an awesome game!
Second, I noticed at the very end that the final episode was dedicated to Cheryl, with birth and death dates. What happened to Cheryl? Does anyone know?

I thoroughly enjoyed watching Pirate Master. However, I also enjoy watching Big Brother. There is no reason why CBS couldn't have had both on television. I didn't even find that you could watch the episodes online until a couple of days ago. Luckily, I have been able to watch them, but hear that alot of people have buffering problems, don't live where it is available, don't have computer access, or like my parents wouldn't know how to get there and watch them. Really bad move for CBS!!! I have been a big fan of CBS reality shows and this move was very stupid.

After what they did to Louie, the LEAST that they could have done was spit the treasure 4 ways. He was have received $10,000 then instead of $5000. It would have eased the pain a little bit. What the 3 of them did was completely dispicable. I guess they really are PIRATES!!

It literally hurt my heart to see Louie go. I had tears in my eyes when he found out that Ben sabotaged the expedition. You could see how surprised and hurt that he was over it. The sad part is that he only lost the expedition by a NARROW margin. How pathetic is that for the Black Crew when Ben delayed Louie by TEN MINUTES?? Louie is a great competitor but more importantly, a great MAN. I'll miss him dearly. I wish that HE was the one not black spotted...he would have made his decision of who to cut adrift with integrity. I too would love to see him on Survivor. Good luck Louie!! You're one of the only ones from the show who can sleep at night and look yourself in the mirror in the morning. Love you!!

I love LOUIE. He is a very genine person. I had tears in my eyes when he was cut adrift. He should come back on the next Survivor for a 2nd chance. I loved to watch him on Pirate Master. He lost weight and he is now a HOTTIE! :-) MORE LOUIE PLEASE!

I hate when the networks cancel shows mid season especially reality shows. It was insulting to the fans to put the shows on the internet. The episodes freeze every 3 minutes and it seem pointless to sit through it. I have suffered this BS simply because I like the show. I wish CBS would get a clue and pull a few of their other shows off the air and put back the PIRATE Master or at the very least finish the seaon on TV and not make another one.

I love LOUIE is he really a cutie. I just can't believe that he was so Naive to not realize he was being played. Just before Louie was cut adrift I wanted to Punch Ben in the Head for what he did. Wake UP Louie, Ben is a good player and his stalling tactics were so obvious a blind man would have noticed. Louie is the Greatest. It Sucks that the Nice Guy got cut a drift. I can't stand Jay and would love to set his backside adrift in a heartbeat. Krista you are the biggest fool for trusting Jay. Don't keep playing the family card because a Snake is a Snake and Jay is a poisonous one.

I don't know where some of the reasoning is where jay would have been better off voting off Ben as where Christa would have been better off letting Louie choose who to cast adrift this way she would have a better chance against a less formidable opponant. But on the other hand it looks like the ghosts are going to have the last say on who becomes Pirate Master and from past episodes it looks like Jay and Ben have more enemies. I think Christa will win if that's the way it goes.

I was just reading in a small time newspaper about the happenings of Pirate Master and at the end there was a small paragraph that read "In another Pirate Master matter, former contestant Cheryl Kosewicz, a deputy district attorney from Nevada, was found dead of an apparent suicide last week, according to news sources." I was wondering if anyone else had heard anything? What a shame.
