capt morgan

i am looking for information on Sir henry morgan. I am said to be a direct descendant of him. I am from blue fields Nicaragua and well i just recently too intrest in this because one of my uncles told me i have the same attitude of capt morgan. Well every one knows that capt morgan was in charge of jamaica well what i know that i have not been found in any books is capt morgan use to travel alot to the small islands right outside Nicaragua on the cost. Was told by grand father that he was said to hang out alot in Corn island, Perl lagoon or La laguna de las perlas also he also use to go alot to the misquito islands. Grand father as well as a few uncles told me that he would dock outside bluefields nicaragua and hang out there allot. The said that he did have a child and it was kept a secret from people and he also did adopt a few children. They also told me that in many descendants of many of capt morgans crew went back to bluefields nicaragua after capt morgan died. Even on his trip to panama there where a few pirates on his crew that migrated to there. I looked in many books and find nothing mentioning his trips to blue fields nicaragua. I plan on making a trip there to visit a few family members who know more about this and who are said to be descendants of henry morgan. 4 out of 6 found this valuable. Do you?

Also a few of my family members claim that they know some of the descendants of his crew members and they still live in perl lagoon and corn island and many of them are still in blue fields.. Blue fields nicaragua people speak english and spanish. many people migrated there from jamaica and all parts of the Caribbean and also from germanay , england, Scotland, and china. if any one has any more information about henry morgan on in central america please share. some time this year when i go to nicaragua i will find out alot more..

It has been said that I'm a descendant of Morgan as well. Hey, we could be distantly related. :)Unfortunately, I'm from his European side, the Welsh side to be exact. Apparently I resemble the man. Do you find this valuable? |
